IMPD Arrests Two Teenagers In October Homicide Investigation

The 17 and 15-year-olds have not been charged with anything yet, but the Marion County Prosecutor's is looking over the case.

INDIANAPOLIS -- Two arrests in a homicide investigation from last month.

Their names are being withheld because they aren't adults, but Indianapolis Metro Police say they have arrested two teenagers, a 17-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy, in the shooting death of 28-year-old John Beasley Jr. back in mid-October.

Beasley was found shot to death inside a car outside of an apartment complex just north of 38th street and just west of Sherman Drive on the near east side October 16th.

The Marion County Prosecutor's office is still reviewing the case and has not decided whether to charge the teenage boys with Beasley's murder. They also have to decide whether or not they'll be tried as adults.
