#Popcorn Moment: Matthew Dowd of ABC News Gets It All Wrong on President Trump and Protests in Iran

Dowd: "President has no moral authority to speak out on any of this."

Matthew Dowd of ABC News took to the air Wednesday to talk about Iranian citizens' uprising against their opressive government, and to inform viewers that President Trump doesn't have the "moral authority" to speak out in favor or in opposition to the protestors. 

According to Dowd, "Out ability to even engage in that conversation in light of how we have acted as a country and how the President has acted has diminished our ability to communicate on any of this."
