As a fourth generation family business in downtown Indianapolis, Hurst Beans distributes dried bean products to grocery stores in all 50 states as well as US military bases around the world. Hurst Beans carries over 20 varieties of dried beans, but is most popular for its HamBeens 15 Bean Soup product. N.K. Hurst Company is proud of its roots in Indianapolis and to call this city its home.

Supporting The Salvation army’s mission was an easy decision to make. Being fortunate enough to be a part of the vibrant Indianapolis community, Hurst Beans supports The Salvation Army’s programs to help the homeless as well as their Shelter for Women and Children, knowing that it is important for the city. Regardless of the economy, there are fellow Hoosiers who, from time to time, need the help that The Salvation Army provides.
