Adding Color To Your Garden

Different Colors For Different People
Because we all have distinct feeling on color, each person has their own unique way of incorporating color into their surroundings. The colors we fancy are as personal to each of us as our own identity. Therefore, there are several different approaches to adding a splash of brilliant color to your garden. You can add color through an array of flowers, cherry blossom trees, beautiful Evergreens, etc. By choosing the proper assortment, color can be maintained long past spring and summer, adding beauty and aroma throughout the year.

Colors and Their Effect
The color scheme one chooses can influence both behavior and awareness. You can manipulate the environment to create a more appealing garden setting by strategically selecting specific color arrangements. There is a core class of colors available in gardening. The core colors are red, blue, yellow, purple, pink and white. These colors can all be used to one's advantage in gardening. A tip is to use warmer flower hues in the cooler months to liven up the garden and cooler tones in the warmer months to refresh and replenish the garden atmosphere.

Red: Red is the most delectable color to the eye. It is considered a warm color and aids in generating a feeling of warmth. Red roses add a splash of color to any garden and embrace a touch of elegance and beauty.

Blue: Blue is an easy color to detect, and brings a calm and soothing feeling to the mind. Blue looks great when entertaining during the nighttime with subtle patio lighting.

Yellow: Yellow suggests a feeling of vibrant energy and works well along fences, entrances to driveways and pathways to your house. Sunflowers can brighten anyone's day, especially along a path where they stand majestically as if they are greeting people walking by.

Pink: The color pink represents innocence and suggests a feeling of tranquility and blissfulness. Considered a warm color, pink blends red and yellow colored hues. Pink flowers are known for the sweet fragrance they secrete, so if fragrance is your preference, incorporate pink into your garden.

White: White suggests purity and virtue. It is considered to be a cool color. White roses stand elegantly when arranged by entryways and pathways. White also serves as the perfect color for evening events. White Moonflowers add a sense of mystery as they open up to the moonlight and sleep during the day.
