And Then There Were Four: Yet ANOTHER Virginia Official Embroiled in Controversy

Well, golly gee. It would appear the defecation has collided with the oscillation once again in the fine state of Virginia.

ALL THREE of Virginia's top elected officials are engulfed in scandal and desperately running for political cover amid the emergence of multiple racial and sexual allegations against them.

Gov. Ralph Northam was already hanging by a thread over a racist photo in his 1984 medical school yearbook.

Next came news that a woman had publicly accused lieutenant governor Justin Fairfax of sexually assaulting her 15 years ago.

What then? The attorney general admitted that he TOO wore blackface once, as a teenager.

Attorney General Mark Herring — in line to become governor if Northam and Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax resign — issued a statement acknowledging he wore brown makeup and a wig in 1980 to look like a rapper during a party when he was a 19-year-old student at the University of Virginia.

Okay, will everyone please stop dressing in blackface and groping women without their consent? Please?

In other news, you democrats may now climb down from your moral high horse and proceed to immediately shut up.

Oh, but wait! Now a Republican has been ensnared in the "every elected official in Virginia is a racist perv" controversy! That's right; we're up to FOUR now and even the conservatives are joining in on the fun! Hey, nobody likes missing out on good time, am I right?

From The Washington Examiner:

State Senate Majority Leader Tommy Norment edited the 1968 Virginia Military Institute yearbook, publishing a number of racist photos and slurs, according to the Virginian-Pilot.

The 1968 edition of "The Bomb" featured one photo of a student in blackface posing with peers in other costumes, and another image of two men in blackface with a football.

The Virginian-Pilot reported that the N-word was printed at least once, and the terms "Chink" and "Jap" were also used.

"He was known as the 'Barracks Jew’ having his fingers in the finances of the entire Corps," another caption read.

Good. Sweet. Crap. What the heck is wrong with you folks in Virginia and is it contageous?
