#WalkAway founder Brandon Straka is a very gracious and understanding human being. How do we know? Because the Chicks on the Right have been mispronouncing his last name for over a year and he never called them out on it. (Hint: the second "A" is silent)
"You have to understand, my parents are the only people in the world who actually say my name right. Here's the thing though, when you mispronounce my name, you actually make it easier for people to find me on social media."
"But what is the "A" silent?
"Well now you're asking me to go back in time and explain the entire history of my family's last name and answer questions that I could not possibly know the answer to."
Obviously, Straka called into the show Thursday to talk about more than his last name. The fact is, the #WalkAway rally was a massive success and the Chicks on the Right got all the details from "STRAK(a)" during their interview this morning.
"It was so incredible and exceeded all of my expectations, which were really, really high. We had the gala dinner on Friday night and that's when I realized that this was going to be much bigger than I anticipated. We came down to the reception area and it was absolutely packed. And I jumped on the red carpet to do press and got rushed by all the people there who have joined the movement. So I took pictures and then when I walked into this unbelievably beautiful ballroom at the Trump International it was filled with people and I nearly fell over; I was blown away. I couldn't believe we had actually managed to put this together."
