Democrat Accuses Mark Zuckerberg of Racism in Unhinged Rant

Joyce Beatty, D-Ohio: "When you have ruined the lives of many people, discriminated against them. Do you know what percentage of African Americans are on Facebook, in comparison to majority folks?"

The quality brain trust of brilliance that is the Democrat party has accused Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg of being a racist! Welcome to the club, Zuck!

The label of 'racist' is far less shaming than in years past due to widespread use of the term and it's frequent interchangeability with the phrase, "I disagree with you."

In a Congressional hearing meant to discuss the Zuck's plans for “Libra,” a digital currency, two Democratic Congress members attacked the Facebook CEO for discrimination.

Rep. Joyce Beatty, D-Ohio, claimed Zuckerberg and Facebook have ruined the lives of many African-Americans, and berated Zuckerberg for not knowing the intricacies of Facebook’s Civil Rights task force.

“This is what’s so frustrating to me, it’s almost like you think this is a joke. When you have ruined the lives of many people, discriminated against them. Do you know what percentage of African Americans are on Facebook, in comparison to majority folks? Do you know what the percentages are?” Beatty asked.

Editor's note: I don't, but considering the fact that black people are a minority as an overall percentage of the population, I'm betting they have a minority presence on Facebook as well. #logic.

Zuckerberg responded that he did not know because Facebook allegedly does not collect the races of people using the social networking site.

Beatty claimed Zuckerberg probably doesn’t read things that have to do with African Americans.

Rep. Al Green, D-Texas, also insulted Zuckerberg about the minority representation in Libra’s projects.

“Of the 21 [Libra associations] how many are headed by women?” Green asked.

“Congressman, I do not know the answer off the top of my head, but I can get it for you,” Zuckerberg said.

“Well, I believe you can get it Mr. Zuckerberg, but, one would assume that you would know who heads these corporations that are going to be running this global company. How many of them are minorities, Mr. Zuckerberg?” Green asked. Zuckerberg responded in the same manner as before, saying he does not know the figure off the top of his head.

“Are there any members of the LGBTQ+ community associated with this association, Mr. Zuckerberg?” Green asked.

Daisy and Producer Rob Kendall broke down the antics of the Zuckerberg hearing on Friday's broadcast. Click below to check it out.
