It’s a woman’s prerogative to change her mind, and Rep. Tuli Gabbard says she’s now on board with Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s prayerfully inept impeachment probe.
Wishy-Washy Gabbard justified her sudden flip-flop by putting forth the following statement over the weekend:
“[A]fter looking carefully at the transcript of the conversation with Ukraine’s President, the whistleblower complaint, the Inspector General memo, and President Trump’s comments about the issue, unfortunately, I believe that if we do not proceed with the inquiry, it will set a very dangerous precedent. Future presidents, as well as anyone in positions of power in the government, will conclude that they can abuse their position for personal gain, without fear of accountability or consequences.”
Translation: “I looked at the polling numbers and realized I would be more popular with my minuscule base of supporters if I reversed my position and joined my mentally-deranged liberal lunatics on the train to the magic land of ‘Ragefully-Hopeless Democrat Delusions, USA.’”
Fun Fact: Pelosi paid her fare.
