So Long Sarah: W.H. Press Secretary Sarah Sanders Resigns Position

It was devastatingly sad day for Republicans and the Trump Administration as Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced Thursday she would resign from her position as White House Press Secretary at the end of June.
Sanders became the administration’s deputy press secretary after Trump took office in 2017 and was later promoted to press secretary after Sean Spicer left the role.
Sanders is also a badass who doesn't take lip from rude reporters such as CNN's Jim Acosta.
“I know it’s hard for you to understand even short sentences, I guess, but please don’t take my words out of context,” Sanders once barked at Acosta. #LoveHer
Another time, Acosta accused Sanders of struggling with the truth during one particularly heated briefing, to which Sanders responded, “I don’t have any problem with stating facts. … I know that’s probably something you do have a problem with, but we don’t.”
President Donald Trump made the announcement of Sarah's resignation on his Twitter account Thursday morning:
“After [three-and-a-half] years, our wonderful Sarah Huckabee Sanders will be leaving the White House at the end of the month and going home to the Great State of Arkansas,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “She is a very special person with extraordinary talents, who has done an incredible job!”

He continued: “I hope she decides to run for [g]overnor of Arkansas,” the president continued, citing a position Sanders’ father, Mike Huckabee, once held. “Sarah, thank you for a job well done!”

Sanders said in her resignation speech Thursday afternoon that she was returning to Arkansas and looked forward to spending more time with her family.
