Moderately talented pop star and charm school dropout Miley Cyrus is declining to have children for now due to her concerns for the environment.
Cyrus, who has kept her own carbon footprint in check by owning FOUR mansions and traveling by private jet, said in an interview for Elle magazine that the current state of the world has affected her outlook on raising a family.
Cyrus has felt acutely aware of the environment around her ever since last year's Woolsey Fire destroyed one of her mansions in Malibu.
"With natural disasters, you don’t get a choice," Cyrus thoughtfully rambled. "You surrender."
More philosophical insights from Miley Cyrus in Elle Magazine:
"And nature’s female. When she’s angry, don’t f--- with her. That’s the way that I feel women are like right now. The earth is angry. We’ve been doing the same thing to the earth that we do to women. We just take and take and expect it to keep producing. And it’s exhausted. It can’t produce."
She continued: "We’re getting handed a piece-of-s--- planet, and I refuse to hand that down to my child. Until I feel like my kid would live on an earth with fish in the water, I’m not bringing in another person to deal with that."
