Everyone loves a good screw up on live tv. Not sure if it makes the personalities more human, or it has viewers feeling a little bit better about themselves.
Either way- a good old awkward pause- seriously watching it feels like an eternity- Was shared on Harris Faulkner’s Outnumbered, between Fox News Host Melissa Francis, Liberal Fox News pundit Marie Harf, and former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich.
The conversation started off with the group discussing the ongoing violent protests around the country and how it is literally destroying American cities.
Gingrich then turns the focus and blame to billionaire liberal philanthropist, George Soros.
Newt Gingrich: "The number one problem in almost all the cities is George Soros-elected, left-wing, antipolice pro-criminal district attorneys…"
Fox hos: "I’m not sure we need to bring George Soros into this."
Newt: "Okay… So, it’s verboten?"

“The number one problem in almost all the cities is George Soros-elected, left-wing, anti-police, pro-criminal district attorneys who refuse to keep people locked up.”
Gingrich continues, “Progressive district attorneys are anti-police, pro-criminal, and overwhelmingly elected with George Soros’ money. They are a major cause of the violence we are seeing because they keep putting the violent criminals back on the street.”
Francis is quick to interrupt saying how she doesn’t think Soros needs to be brought into the conversation.
Oh, but Newt begs to differ saying Soros “paid for it!”
After Harf chimes in agreement with Francis, Gingrich asks if the billionaire is verboten.
And with that comes the big finale as all sit in silence and frankly not knowing where to go from there… the cameras even flash from each guest as they quietly just sit collectively in the most uncomfortable 10 seconds live tv has seen in a while.
Cue Harris Faulkner to the rescue saving us all with an ‘okay we’re going to move on.’
The following day Faulkner did release a, I guess we can call it ‘apology,’ stating that they did not censor Gingrich.
