Things got a little tense (and a little personal) in the WIBC studios today, as a physical altercation ensued between two co-hosts who were filling in for the vacationing Chicks on the Right.

The mood was light, fluffy and joyful between WIBC’s Rob Kendall and Brian Baker for the majority of Monday’s 9-11am broadcast. Tempers flared and threats were made, however, as the topic turned to the recent claims of election violations related to the campaigns of Carmel Mayor Jim Brainard and Councilor Fred Glynn.

It’s been alleged that Mayor Brainard’s campaign offered a bribe to have his opponent Fred Glynn not run against him.

Kendall, a Brownsburg resident who is clearly jealous of Carmel’s majesty, and Baker, a Carmel resident, lover of taxpayer-funded Santas, and blind loyalist to Mayor Brainard, engaged in a heated debate before things turned “full-blown rabid chimp,” according to witnesses in the WIBC newsroom.

The entire exchange is included in the clip below for your enjoyment. And also, it didn’t really turn “full chimp.” It’s April 1st, you know?
