The Heartland Film Festival is set to show an award winning feature film, "THE TURN OUT", directed by Pearl Gluck, and starring a local Indianapolis Trucker, JAMES GAGNE, JR.   Tonight will be the 2nd screening - 7pm at Newfields.  The film shows us what's happening all over the country, including "right here in our own backyard" says Jim.  The 90 minute feature is concerned with the problems of human trafficking and child endangerment as they relate to the opioid crisis.

Pearl Gluck interviewed survivors of trafficking, as well as truckers and legislators.  Jim  says "that he hopes the film brings awareness to people about whats going on around them in their own communities."

SCREENINGS:  Oct. 15th - 7pm at Newfields and Oct. 19th - 4:45pm at AMC Castleton Square.
