No, Ms. Ocasio-Cortez, Detention Centers Are Not "Exactly Like" Concentration Camps

Once again, Rep. Ocasio-Cortez has used the undeserved platform of her calculated celebrity to vomit historical illiteracy onto the American people.

Monday night, AOC asserted in an Instagram Live appearance that detention centers housing immigrants on the Southern border are “exactly” like concentration camps, then doubled down on her comments Tuesday morning when she was rightfully condemned for making the disgusting comparison.

“The U.S. is running concentration camps on our southern border, and that is exactly what they are,” Ocasio-Cortez said Monday night.

“If that doesn’t bother you ... I want to talk to the people that are concerned enough with humanity to say that ‘never again’ means something.”

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's uncontrolled and increasingly frequent outbursts on social media are more than just deceptive and ignorant, they're dangerous. She has masses of equally uninformed and emotionally unbalanced followers who feed on her propaganda amid the disturbing post 2016 election rise of socialist tribalism. Shame on the members of her party and the mainstream media for their failure to hold her accountable for the vicious and hurtful rhetoric that she incessantly spews forth on a near daily basis.

No less than six million Jews were exterminated in the Holocaust. Some starved to death, but not before resorting to drinking their own urine and eating the leather off their shoes in an effort to quell the hunger pangs. Some suffered an agonizing death in crudely constructed gas chambers. Others were subjected to grotesque torture and excruciatingly painful medical experiments. For those who survived, the memories of what they endured make Quentin Tarrantino's worst nightmares seem like fairy tales by comparison.

When I was 11 or 12, I had the opportunity to listen to a Holocaust survivor who courageously shared his story with my 5th grade class. This brave man who lost his entire family at Auschwitz tearfully told us of the time that he witnessed a two-year-old child who was crying hysterically after she was separated from her mother. A German soldier in heavy black boots, annoyed by the increasingly desperate wails, kicked the child in the head and put it out of its misery.

The migrant children being held at the Southern border until their asylum claims are processed are not suffering physical and mental abuse. Family separations are temporary, not permanent. The children are fed pizza and spend their days playing X-Box, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, in all of her vibrant and exquisite ignorance, compares their experience to that of the Jews who suffered the atrocities of the Holocaust.

I'm so thoroughly disgusted by the Democrat party on a daily basis that I genuinely thought I'd grown numb to the antics and vile rhetoric of their most prominent "rising star," the woefully ignorant child, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. I was wrong.

This former bartender and socialist who found herself in a position of distinction after winning the equivalent of an American Idol competition for politics (Thanks a lot, Cenk) makes me only moderately less sick to my stomach than her anti-Semitic colleague, Ilhan Omar. She is agonizingly careless with her words and astonishingly unqualified to serve in Washington. Sadly, she is hardly unique from her Democrat colleagues in that regard.

Exactly when did the party of the perpetually oppressed decide that it was acceptable to belittle the suffering of those who were subjected to the cruel atrocities of Hitler's regime during World War II?  When did the plight of the Jewish people become nothing more than a convenient and self-serving political tool? When did the politicians and media figures who traffic in "oppression porn" on a daily basis determine that it was perfectly moral and decent to demean the character and values of your political adversaries by labeling them as "Nazis?" It is unforgivable and it is wrong.

Never forget, these are the same wicked and hypocritical group of finger-wagging elitists who practically lost consciousness when audio emerged of then-candidate Donald Trump talking about grabbing women in the p*ssy. These power-hungry progressives who use Nazi metaphors as a political prop are the same self-annointed moral arbiters of justice who called for Megyn Kelly's head when she dared to suggest it was acceptable for her caucasian friend to dress up like Diana Ross on Halloween.

These over-indulged children of a generation who never had to fight for their country or work for the freedoms and privileges they enjoy as American citizens now dare to question the humanity of a President who has fought tirelessly to resolve the crisis at the border while upholding the laws of our country - laws that were put into place long before Donald Trump moved into the White House.

In their lust for power, these political narcissists on the left fail to realize that it is only through the preservation and enforcement of our laws, our continued economic prosperity, and the ensured welfare of our own citizens and system of government FIRST that America can exist as a refuge to others under the shelter of freedom and liberty.

I'm thoroughly sickened, yet no longer shocked by the disgusting antics of these pathetic, vicious, and morally-depraved career politicians on both sides of the political aisle. Their ignorance knows no bounds. Their lust for power has smothered and exterminated whatever shred of decency their souls once possessed.

As for Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, you owe the Jewish people, our border agents, and conservatives a sincere and heartfelt apology. Begin with that, then resign, you wretchedly ignorant, overprivileged, and arrogant know-nothing.
