Next time CNN hack Jim Acosta and other liberal journalists whine about President Trump’s supposed ‘war’ on the freedom of the press, at least they can take solace in the fact that American journalists covering the White House have favorable odds of returning to their families each night – unless they’ve pissed of a Clinton, of course.
Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi was not afforded that same luxury after he entered the Saudi consulate in Istanbul on October 2, nor was he granted a quick and painless death by his vicious and barbaric captors. Khashoggi’s death was horrific and gruesome, and the agonizing audio of screams as he was tortured were captured by the writer’s own smart watch.
From the New York Times:
“After he was shown into the office of the Saudi consul, Mohammad al-Otaibi, the agents seized Mr. Khashoggi almost immediately and began to beat and torture him, eventually cutting off his fingers, the senior Turkish official said.
As they cut off Mr. Khashoggi’s head and dismembered his body, a doctor of forensics who had been brought along for the dissection and disposal had some advice for the others, according to the senior Turkish official.
Listen to music, he told them, as he put on headphones himself. That was what he did to ease the tension when doing such work, the official said, describing the contents of the audio recording.”

“If you have a problem with the United States, Jim Acosta can bash Donald Trump all he wants. He can go to these press conferences; disguise monologues as questions, and go as Twitter and say whatever he wants. But Jim Acosta still gets to go home at night. You do this overseas, in the Middle East, in Iraq, in Saudi Arabia, and as this journalist found out, things aren’t going to go that well.”
