Summer weather has returned in Indy, and so have the homeless! Yep! Pan handlers, beggars, people crapping in flower beds and washing their clothes in the fountain – it’s all part of the local charm here in our beloved Circle City.

WIBC political and legal correspondent, Abdul-Hakim Shabazz caught a TON of flack on social media after he addressed the homeless problem in Indianapolis in a recent post that some of his followers found “insensitive.” 

Abdul dropped by the Hammer and Nigel show Monday to discuss what it will take to tackle Indy’s homeless problem and why some efforts by local homeless advocates are only exacerbating the problem.
