Trump Stops Following Ann Coulter on Twitter After 'Joke Presidency' Comments

Coulter: "...about to have a country where no Republican will ever be elected president again.”

Good news! The President of the United States is acting like a toddler again!

Whew, what a relief! For a moment there we were worried he was actually going to follow through with that "new tone" and more civil communication thing that he threatened to practice for the remainder of his term. It was his pre-midterm resolution, and like most resolutions, he abandoned it roughly 3.6 seconds after he made it.

Fortunately, good ole' temper-tantrum Trump's latest display of gross immaturity shouldn't have any legitimately real lasting consequences; Trump simply unfollowed the equally outspoken and childish conservative pundit Ann Coulter. That's more amusing than controversial, although it's somewhat embarrassing to have the leader of the free world engage in such petty behavior.

So what got Trump all worked up into an orangey froth? Coulter declared she would no longer support his reelection if no progress has been made on the border wall by 2020.

Granted, Coulter was merely expressing what the majority of Trump voters were feeling in the wake of White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders signaling that the administration was willing to forgo the President's demand for $5 billion in border wall funding as a condition tied to the passage of the new spending bill to fund the U.S. Government.

During a podcast interview with The Daily Caller earlier Wednesday, Coulter said Trump's presidency would be "a joke" that will leave "no legacy whatsoever if the wall wasn't built."

“Why would you [vote for him again]?” asked Coulter. “To make sure, I don’t know, Ivanka [Trump] and Jared [Kushner] can make money? That seems to be the main point of the presidency at this point.”

“They’re about to have a country where no Republican will ever be elected president again,” she added. “Trump will just have been a joke presidency who scammed the American people, amused the populists for a while, but he’ll have no legacy whatsoever."
