A Wisconsin woman who is preparing to celebrate her 109th birthday has won her battle against the Coronavirus.
Ruth Stryzewski spent several weeks in isolation after contracting the deadly virus, but according to her family, her symptoms weren’t severe enough to require hospitalization.
Stryzewski turns 109 on February 20th, but she isn’t the first person over 100-years-old to defeat the virus.
In May, a 103-year-old Massachusetts woman recovered from COVID-19 and celebrated with her favorite drink: beer!
