A pair of $1,190 sweatpants from fashion designer Balenciaga has been branded “racist” and “a prime example of cultural appropriation.”

The sweatpants come with built-in boxer shorts that can be seen above the waistband, allowing users to enjoy the upscale look of showing their underwear off in public without the discomfort of ill-fitting pants.

Sadly, this revolution in forward-thinking fashion has been met with resistance by those who claim that Balenciaga is guilty of “cultural appropriation.”
