Our all-inclusive friends in the Biden administration have issued an all-new feel-good edict to federal immigration enforcement agencies: stop using the terms “illegal alien” and “assimilation” when referring to illegal immigrants.

The new order was included in a memo sent to the heads of Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Customs and Border Protection, allegedly as part of an effort by the Biden White House to build a more “humane” immigration system, according to the Washington Post.

According to the document, “alien” will become “noncitizen or migrant,” “illegal” will be called “undocumented,” and “assimilation” will be referred to as “integration.”

“President Uniter” issued no edicts on the use of the term “racist” when referring to any Republican for any reason whatsoever.

The memos did, however, put the agencies on notice that “their attitudes and those of their labor unions that endorsed former President Donald Trump must change under the Biden administration,” according to the New York Post.

“As the nation’s premier law enforcement agency, we set a tone and example for our country and partners across the world,” Troy Miller, a senior official at CBP, said in his memo. “We enforce our nation’s laws while also maintaining the dignity of every individual with whom we interact. The words we use matter and will serve to further confer that dignity to those in our custody.”

Meanwhile, at the border…

Media outlets such as Newsweek and the New York Times quietly reported this month that the Biden Administration would restart construction on leftover portions of the southern border wall.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki stated that while construction had been “paused” while agencies develop a new plan, “limited construction” on the border has already been funded and would continue.

Newsweek:

On his first day in office, Biden vowed to halt all taxpayer funding for border wall construction, calling former President Donald Trump’s flagship project a “waste of money” and bad immigration policy.

Chad Wolf, the acting secretary of the Department of Homeland Security under former President Trump told Fox News he believes the Biden administration is under “immense pressure” from law enforcement to refocus on the wall.

“The men and women from [U.S. Customs and Border Protection] and Border Patrol are pleading with DHS leadership and the White House to finish sections of that border wall system,” Wolf told Fox News. “They know how effective it is, and they know they need it to do their job.”

Okay, but don’t call illegal immigrants “illegal immigrants.” It compromises their dignity.
