Butt crack is back, baby!!
A city in south Florida has overturned its “saggy pants” ban from 2007, with officials saying it disproportionately targeted black men.
The Miami Herald reported that the Opa-locka City Commission voted 4-1 Wednesday to repeal the legislation affecting men, as well as a 2013 ordinance that said women could also be subject to a civil citation for wearing pants that exposed their underwear.
“I was never in support of it, even as a resident,” said Vice Mayor Chris Davis (No relation to WIBC news director Chris Davis), who sponsored the repeal… “I felt it disproportionately affected a certain segment of our population.”
Hammer and Nigel Records immediately endeavored to commemorate this historic occasion with a celebration of song.
Behold the tear-jerking acoustical masterpiece, “Butt Crack.”
