Oklahoma Rep. Justin Humphrey has introduced a bill that would establish a ‘Bigfoot hunting season’ in the state, complete with licenses and tags.

If the bill’s passed into law, it would take effect on Nov. 1 of this year.

Read the bill HERE.

Fun Fact: Oklahoma is apparently quite infamous for its sasquatch sightings – especially in the southeastern and southern parts of the state, which Humphrey represents.

There’s even an annual bigfoot festival each October, and Humphrey wants the hunting season to coincide with the festival to maximize tourism.

We’re not really into hunting ourselves. Those memories of “Bambi” tend to stay with you.

That said, it’s probably okay to shoot Bigfoot if you use him for food.

Wow. John Lithgow must really hate Bigfoot.
