Rudy Giuliani announced via Twitter Wednesday that he would appear on his talk radio show later in the day even though the FBI had hours earlier raided his Manhattan home as part of an ongoing criminal investigation.
“Tune in to WABCradio.com at 3 PM EST for a live statement,” Giuliani tweeted shortly after 2:30 p.m.
Giuliani deleted the tweet within minutes and never showed for his radio program.
Robert Costello, Giuliani’s attorney, said earlier Wednesday that FBI agents raided his client’s Upper East Side apartment and Midtown law office “at dawn” and confiscated various electronic devices.
The raid stems from a criminal investigation that the Manhattan U.S. Attorney’s office is conducting into Giuliani’s shadowy business dealings in Ukraine.
That’s right. The guy who led the charge against Joe and Hunter Biden’s business dealings in Ukraine is being investigated for shenanigans involving lobbying for Ukraine.
