Eric Swalwell, congressional representative and famed public passer of ass gas, just used his 4-year-old child to push anti-gun rhetoric.

“My 4-year-old just FaceTimed to ask what I’m doing to ‘help the people in Buffalo’ and ‘why did the bad man do this?’ Absolutely gutting. This cannot be his normal. It’s time to BAN ASSAULT WEAPONS.  #EndGunViolence”

To the best of our knowledge, Swalwell’s 4-year-old did not ask his father during that FaceTime call if “Daddy jeopardized American security by having sex with a Chinese spy.”

Twitter users accused Swalwell of making the story up, prompting the MSNBC floater of air biscuits to double down on his claims.

“I love the ‘no 4-year-old would ask this’ takes,” wrote in a follow-up tweet. You’re in absolute denial if you think our kids aren’t watching the horrors we are allowing.”

Swalwell’s tweet included a picture of his child watching CNN coverage of the massacre in Buffalo, New York Saturday.

Question: What decent parent allows their 4-year-old to watch news coverage of a mass killing?

Most parents are still teaching their pre-schoolers how to wipe properly. They’re calming fears about monsters under the bed. They’re still using Santa as a manipulation tactic to force good behavior.

Meanwhile, the Swalwells are jumping right into the topic of mass shootings. That’ll calm those nightmares right down!

Granted, Swalwell is also a member of the party that wants sex and gender education in kindergarten…
