Nothing is more relaxing and addicting than a good home remodeling/DIY show. We’re nerds and we are proud. That’s why we wanted to share some of our favorite shows to binge watch and feel like we are learning at the same time!
Fixer Upper- Denny’s Favorite
Denny loves husband-wife duo, Chip and Joanna Gaines. The home design and renovation show is based in central Texas. They help a couple find a home in their price range then use their renovation and design skills to make the clients dream home a reality. Joanna is queen of design, while Chip heads the contracting side of things.
“I like how they work off of each other’s strengths. They really compliment each other which makes the end product so much greater.” -Denny
Good Bones- Pat’s Favorite
Based right here in Indianapolis, Two Chicks and a Hammer, Mina and Karen are a mother-daughter duo that take the structure of a once abandoned home and gives it new life. They focus on more urban areas of the city like Fountain Square, improving and inspiring the whole neighborhood. Urban remodels and hometown recognition, you can’t beat that!
Flea Market Flip- Producer Pick
This half-hour show is as addicting as they come. Each episode host, Lara Spencer mentors two teams of two in a competition to see who can make the most profit off of their masterpieces. The contestants are given $500 to scour a local flea market. Using their findings, creative skills, and some elbow grease the teams refurbish and give new life to these pieces.

Home and Garden with Pat Sullivan
Each Sunday morning around 7am WTHR 13 is graced with the presence of our very own Pat Sullivan. He gives a quick three-minute tip or trick on a seasonal home or garden problem.
