The crusade to stifle free speech and crush the necks of American conservatives continues, folks.

Activist group Sleeping Giants announced in a tweet Friday that they had called upon tech giants Apple and Google to ban Parler from their app stores unless the conservative-friendly alternative to Facebook and Twitter agrees to censor content from its users.

In its tweet, Sleeping Giants included screenshots of several Parler posts that called for violence against public officials such as Vice President Mike Pence.

On Friday, Sean Davis, co-founder of The Federalist, announced that Apple had “threatened” to follow through with Sleeping Giants’ demands.

“BREAKING: Apple is currently threatening to ban Parler — the free speech alternative to Twitter — unless the service enacts draconian censorship policies demanded by left-wing Big Tech oligarchs, according to two sources familiar with Apple’s threats,” Davis wrote in a tweet.

There’s no question that Parler has an obligation to remove or block content that violates Federal law or decency standards as set forth in its user agreement. The question is how far they’re willing to go.

The Mock n’ Rob Show will have the latest on Sleeping Giants crusade on Monday.
