Buttigieg To Address ‘Racism Built Into Our Roadways’
Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg is back from paternity leave and ready to address one of the most important challenges facing America in the post-pandemic era: racist roadways.
Buttigieg was asked by big thinker and White House correspondent April Ryan about the issue during a Q&A with Pete about the bipartisan infrastructure bill.
“Also can you give us the construct of how you will deconstruct the racism that was built into roadways?” Ryan asked without a hint of irony in her voice.
Here was young Pete’s reply:
Yes, these are the kinds of issues that will be addressed in the Infrastructure Bill that passed through Congress last week – a bill that was supported by 13 Republicans.
By the way, Pete did such a bang-up job destroying South Bend as Mayor and bungling his gig as Transportation Secretary that he’s considering a 2024 run for President!
