Republican Sen. Mitt Romney slammed Donald Trump on Twitter Thursday night, saying the President had failed to make “even a plausible case of widespread fraud or conspiracy before a court of law” pertaining to the 2020 presidential election.

“Having failed to make even a plausible case of widespread fraud or conspiracy before any court of law, the President has now resorted to overt pressure on state and local officials to subvert the will of the people, and overturn the election,” Romney tweeted. “It is difficult to imagine a worse, more undemocratic action by a sitting American President.”

Romney’s comments aligned perfectly with his well-established reputation as a Rhino and a hypocrite.

The Utah Republican said earlier this month that he did NOT have a problem with Trump challenging the election results, telling “Fox News Sunday” he once considered challenging the 2012 election results when he lost to President Obama.

At the time, Romney said he thought it was totally “appropriate for the president to make sure that the vote count has been done properly.”

Rhino Romney said he did not vote for Trump. He also voted to convict Trump for abusing presidential powers in February, after the House impeached the president.
