Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) is doing her “incite protestors to violence” schtick in Minneapolis, MN this week.

Waters arrived in Brooklyn Center, MN on Saturday to protest the police shooting of Daunte Wright last week.

In a video later shared on social media, Waters is heard calling for protesters to ignore a curfew, “stay in the street” and become “more confrontational” if former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin is acquitted of killing resident George Floyd this week.

“Why is Maxine Waters traveling to a different state trying to incite a riot? What good can come from this?” Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert of Colorado responded on Twitter after viewing the video.

By Sunday afternoon, the hashtag #ImpeachMaxineWaters began to trend, accusing her of incitement to violence.

Conservative radio host and journalist Todd Starnes noted that at least two National Guard troops had been injured after gunmen opened fire on their vehicles in Minneapolis mere hours after Waters made her call to be more confrontational.

Of course, Maxine Waters is no stranger to encouraging angry protestors to riot.

WIBC’s Mock n’ Rob posed the following question to their listeners Monday morning: “If Donald Trump was ‘guilty’ of incitement to violence, shouldn’t Maxine Waters be held to the same standard as the former President?”
