Race-Baiting: The act of intentionally encouraging racism or anger about issues relating to race, often to get a political advantage.

Former CNN contributor Marc Lamont Hill tried to pressure a guest on his show, “Black News Tonight,” to “name something you like about being white.”

Christopher F. Rufo, a contributing editor for City Journal and a senior fellow of the Manhattan Institute, appeared on Hill’s little show to discuss Critical Race Theory being taught in schools.

Hill’s guest said topics like slavery and segregation should be taught in school and even argued it is “an incontrovertible fact” that America has a racist history.

But Rufo also said he believes teaching critical race theory (CRT) should be limited and left to the discretion of state lawmakers.

Unsatisfied with his guest’s answers and eager to paint Rufo as a closeted racist, Hill posed the following question: “Name something you like about being white.”
