See It: Psaki Says Biden Still Has No Plans To Visit The Border
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki told reporters Monday that Vice President Kamala Harris still has no plans to visit the southern border.
“Is the vice president planning on going to the border?” an unidentified reporter asked Psaki. “I know she’s handling [Biden’s Border Crisis], why hasn’t she been there? Is she planning in the future to go and see what’s going on first-hand?”
“Well, the vice president is overseeing the exact that portfolio that the president did when he was vice president, which is the Northern Triangle,” Psaki said as she began offering an excuse for Harris’ dereliction of duty, “which is engagement with countries in the region about how we can work together to reduce the rate of migration and work together to address corruption, address the root causes of why so many people are traveling to our border.”
Psaki added that she expects Harris to visit the Northern Triangle in the future, but offered no specifics, nor an answer to the reporter’s actual question.
The vice president was tasked with solving the migrant surge caused by President Joe Biden’s soft stance on immigration last March. Since that time, Harris has failed to make even one visit to the border.
To be fair, Vice President Harris has been extremely busy with remodeling the mansion generously provided for her by ‘We the People.’
But rest assured, America, that the administration and their loyal media will leave no stone unturned in their earnest effort to find out why there has been a “migrant” surge since Inauguration Day. It is a complex question that requires reasoned excuses and repeated misinformation.
