Debate Night Retrospective

Leveling the playing field.

The first round of debates for the Democratic nominess had many surprises as front-runners lagged behind, while secondary candidates carved out a place for themselves. Tulsi Gabbard and Kamala Harris both performed well, but many criticisms of the candidates came from each other as the debate stage turned into a cage match for candidates.

Also featured in this weeks episode is the ongoing saga of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez who now has refused a trip to Auschwitz with a survivor of the holocaust, blames Republicans and a 'far-right' conspiracy for manipulating the moment. And two Catholic schools in Indiana were requested by the Archdiocese to terminate the employment of a gay teacher in each school... but was met with two very different responses. Listen to the show to join the conversation!
