AOC Claims She Voted For Biden To Make Him The Next FDR

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy spoke a record-breaking length of more than eight hours Thursday evening to Friday morning in opposition to Biden’s massive reconciliation spending bill.

During McCarthy’s filibuster he compared the Build Back Better legislation to former President Franklin D. Roosevelt and his administration.

“Just a few weeks ago, Congresswoman Abigail Spanberger said, ‘Nobody elected Joe Biden to be FDR.’”

In the background a female voice exclaimed “I did!” The female was later revealed to be, not so surprisingly, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. She confirmed she spoke out on twitter, retweeting Kapur’s post.

Tony Katz says AOC voted for Biden in order to make him a transformational president like FDR.

The reason she voted for Joe Biden is because he is so weak that he could be moved into these (progressive) policies and that is exactly what has happened. She didn’t vote for Joe Biden so Joe Biden could be the next FDR, she voted for Joe Biden so she could make the next FDR.

The House passed Build Back Better Friday morning after reconvening at 8am. The next step will be to get the bill through Senate, then get the House to align with the Senate bill.
