Congressman Mo Brooks gave a masters class on how to deal with CNN and we should all take notes.
CNN reporter Jim Acosta approached Brooks Saturday as he was trying to unlock his bicycle to leave. Acosta right out of the gate asked the Congressman about January 6th. Brilliantly Brooks just simply answered,
“I do not do interviews with CNN because I do not trust CNN to be honorable or truthful.”
Acosta continues to press, but Brooks continues to calmly reject any response with a matter-of-fact attitude. Again he states,
“I do not trust CNN to be truthful or honest so I do not engage with CNN.”
Before Mo Brooks rides off, he leaves Acosta with a “oh you guys will lie through your teeth any chance you get.”
Not giving CNN the time of day, now that’s something the world would benefit from.
Tony Katz adds that the whole conversation of January 6th is next to irrelevant at this point.
“January 6th is not a subject Americans give a damn about. What are we doing?…to the extent that we still think of it as part of our lives – we don’t care.”
