Yes, you read that right. No, it’s not click bait. Congressman Eric Swalwell, the same man who has had a relationship with a Chinese spy, compared President Trump to one of the most powerful terrorist leaders in history.
During a PBS interview, the journalist started the conversation that many want to hold Trump accountable for last week’s riot in DC, but that it is different than those who were directly involved in the attack on the Capitol.
The FIRST four words, right off the bat, from Swalwell,
“Well Osama Bin Laden..”
There’s no ‘twisting his words’ here:
“Well Osama Bin Laden did not enter US soil on September 11, but it was widely acknowledged that he was responsible for inspiring the attack on our country.”
He then elaborates, to what’s obvious to him and delusional to everyone else, Trump did the same. Swalwell believes words like ‘fight’ said by Trump inspired the crowd at his rally to storm the Capitol later that day. His point being that even though the president didn’t directly act, the rioters involved believed they were acting for him which is his fault.

The interviewer follows up, flat out asking if he was comparing the two. His answer?
“I’m comparing the words of an individual that would incite and radicalize somebody as Osama Bin Laden did.”
