Earlier this week ABC’s The View implied that a conservative student-focused organization allowed neo-Nazi protesters into their conference. The ladies of The View have been known to step-over the line, especially co-host Whoopi Goldberg. During the show Thursday, Goldberg issued an apology to Turning Point USA… kind of.

“You know in Monday’s conversation about Turning Point USA I put the young people at the conference in the same category as the protestors outside. And I don’t like it when people make assumptions about me, and it’s not any better when I make assumptions about other people, which I did. So, my bad. I’m sorry.”

The brief, questionably insincere comment follows a statement read by co-host Sara Haines the day before. However, TPUSA told Fox News that they expected a personal apology from Goldberg who specially said the organization was “complicit” with neo-Nazis immediately following the disclaimer.

TPUSA filed a cease and desist letter after remarks made by Joy Behar and Goldberg Monday.

This isn’t the first insistence where Goldberg has had to apologize for her comments.
