Democrats continue to demand stricter gun laws that ultimately threaten the Second Amendment as a whole. The latest push for a ‘call to action’ was from President Biden Thursday urging lawmakers to make significant changes.
While speaking to Congress, Biden proposed to reinstate a ban on the sale of assault-style weapons and high-capacity magazines. He also demanded Congress look at raising the age to buy assault-style weapons from 18 to 21 and limiting gun access for those with mental health issues.
Guy Relford, “The Gun Guy,” told Tony Katz Friday that while the left claims gun control laws are ‘common sense,’ their proposed solutions don’t actually solve anything.
“What’s interesting to me is, except addressing the mental health crisis, which I absolutely and fundamentally agree with, anything he is now proposing by definition would not have prevented any of the recent mass shootings…that’s why when they say “common sense” (laws) I roll my eyes, because it’s anything but.”
