Former Vice President Joe Biden might not be a legitimate racist, but he sure does have a nasty habit of uttering racist things.
January 22, 2007: The Obama is Clean-Cut and Well-Spoken Incident
The Scene: Biden slurps soup at a Wilmington train station while arguing with a New York Observer reporter, Jason Horowitz, over then-Senator Barack Obama’s qualifications for President.
“I mean, you got the first mainstream African American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy,” Biden said. “I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”
Result: Biden becomes Vice President in the Obama administration.
October 2, 1975: The “I Oppose Bussing” Incident.
“I oppose busing,” Biden said in a lengthy television interview entered into the Congressional Record in 1975. “It’s an asinine concept, the utility of which has never been proven to me.”
Result: Biden says his record on school desegregation has been misrepresented, and he maintains that he supported busing as a remedy for the intentionally discriminatory policies that kept white and black students in separate schools in the South.

Aug. 8, 2019: The ‘Poor Kids Are Just as Talented as White Kids’ Incident
Biden was speaking on education and the need to challenge students at a town hall event hosted by the Asian & Latino Coalition in Des Moines when he let loose with this beauty:
Biden: “We should challenge students in these schools. We have this notion that somehow if you’re poor, you cannot do it. Poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids.”
After an unbearably long pause, Biden continued: “Wealthy kids, black kids, Asian kids — no I really mean it, but think how we think about it.”
Result: The New York Times put forth a glorious defense of Mr. Biden that took every possible opportunity to allege that Donald Trump hates Mexicans.
May 23, 2020: The Deplorable Joe Biden Drops the Old “Uncle Tom” Tactic
In a radio interview with black radio host “Charlamagne Tha God,” Biden assures all thinking persons of black heritage, “If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, you ain’t black.”
Result: Political Sh*tstorm
Look on the bright side, Joe. At least all this talk about racism has diverted attention from the Tara Reade’s accusations.
