Kamala Harris Implies Voter ID Laws Won’t Work Because Not All Americans Have Access To Copiers…
Let’s hear the applause for the Worst Argument Against Voter ID Laws!
No one is surprised this highly competitive category has been won by none-other than the Vice President of the United States Kamala Harris.
In a recent interview with BET News, Harris argues against voter ID laws claiming many Americans don’t have access to the technology they need. What high-tech, expensive, futuristic tech could she be referring to? A photocopier.
“You’re going to have to Xerox or photocopy your ID to send it in to prove who you are. Well, there are a whole lot of people, especially people who live in rural communities, who don’t – there’s no Kinkos, there’s no OfficeMax near them.”
Many rural Americans took offense to the vice president’s hilariously ignorant assumption.
Craig Collins, who filled in for Tony Katz Monday, points out just how insulting that comment was.
“It’s ridiculous as an idea, it’s ridiculously elite for one. But just in general the fact that that could actually be an argument that might take place- that technology is just impossible in some communities?”
Harris does say there should be a way for voters to show proof of identity, but not by providing their government issued IDs.
“Of course people have to prove who they are, but not in a way that makes it almost impossible for them to prove who they are.”
So not only are voter ID laws racists, they are now discriminating the rural community, according to the extreme left.
