No National TV Games for Indiana Pacers? Katz Has a Plan

Katz: "First thing we do? We say ESPN and TNT - Screw 'Em!"

Sorry, Indiana Pacers fans, our home team has been deemed unworthy of any nationally televised games this season.

The NBA announced its national television schedule for opening week, Christmas and Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Wednesday, and the Pacers weren't on it.

Granted, the Pacers had only one television appearance last season, so the move isn't necessarily a surprise.

WIBC host Tony Katz isn't taking the news lying down, however:

"The first thing we do is we say ESPN, TNT? Screw 'em! We fill the Fieldhouse every game. We get to the playoffs, we win in the playoffs, we win the championship and then we have a parade right here in downtown Indianapolis. But ESPN? They don't get to come!"
