WIBC host Tony Katz has been a busy guy the last few years, hosting two shows Monday through Friday and making regular appearances on Fox News.

Wednesday afternoon, Katz dropped the news that his afternoon show has added an affiliate in Lafayette, Indiana!

Katz:

"For a year-and-a-half we've been trying an experiment, and that experiment has been 'Tony Katz Today.'

...And over the last year-and-a-half and sort of figuring out what that show should be, the only thing that we've discovered is that it has a growing audience. And people are responding, and they're being a part of it, and they're sharing it, and it's starting to grow and people are hearing about it. And I tell you that every bit of success that I've had in these four plus years in Indianapolis is because people like you gave a guy like me a chance.

...And we're thrilled to announce that we've gone syndicated on Tony Katz Today, adding 'The Patriot,' WSHY in Lafayette, Indiana. Starting January 7th you'll be able to hear the show on there as well.

...Normally when you do something like this you find a syndicator. That's not the way I'm doing this. I'm the syndicator. And that is a really rare and fascinating kind of thing to do. And you don't get to do that without help; you don't get to do that without Emmis being behind you. There is an incredible group of people here."
