President Trump continued to issue denials Thursday that he directed his one-time attorney Michael Cohen to make so-called “hush money” payments to women who claimed they once had affairs with the President.

In a morning tweet storm, Trump claimed he “did nothing wrong with respect to campaign finance laws” and that the campaign finance crimes Cohen pleaded guilty to weren’t even actual crimes.

A Federal judge sentenced Michael Cohen to three years in prison on Wednesday for various crimes, including campaign finance violations.
