Republican Mike Braun defeated Democratic Sen. Joe Donnelly on Tuesday, flipping a key Senate seat coveted by the GOP for six years.

Braun had 54 percent of the vote to Donnelly’s 42 percent when three networks called the race with about half of all precincts reporting.

The GOP had a great day in the state of Indiana with several key wins, but it wasn’t all good news, as Louis Farrakhan’s buddy, Congressman Andre Carson is headed back to Washington.

WIBC host Tony Katz covered highlights from Senator-elect Mike Braun’s victory speech in today’s Popcorn Moment, plus, a few other victory and concession speeches that give insight into the battles ahead for President Trump and the Republicans in the new year.
