Sen. Cory Booker supposedly broke Senate rules when he questioned Kavanaugh Wednesday night about emails that had been made off-limits by a Republican lawyer, and then released the documents Thursday ahead of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
So, will U.S. Sen. Cory Booker to face penalties for his actions during the confirmation hearings for U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh? Not likely, because for all of Kavanaugh's bravado and talk about personal virtue and doing what's right, it turns out he's full of crap.
WIBC host Tony Katz explained why in today's Popcorn Moment:
"Brett Kavanaugh's emails, it turns out, are not about racial profiling in general; it is specific to conversations that took place in the White House immediately after September 11th about racial profiling with regard to Muslims, and how there are systems in place, and what is it in terms of what can happen with regard to safety and security. And Kavanaugh is arguing where the law is and explaining that there needs to be a race-neutral system. So Cory Booker made it look like something racial when it isn't.
The second part of this specific bit of emails that he released? The Bush team had already cleared them prior to Booker releasing them. So for all of Booker's bravado and talk about standing up for what's right, he's full of crap. He's a coward and a loser. He'd already gotten clearance to release them."
