It’s no secret Democratic spending is out of control. To date, the national debt sits at $30 trillion.
During Fox’s “Jesse Watters Primetime” show, Watters talked with Louisiana Sen. John Kennedy on how the federal government could easily reduce spending by cutting waste in the budget.
In true Kennedy fashion, the senator and host poked fun of several ‘investments’ taxpayers’ dollars are being used for. Watters noted that $2 million has gone towards ‘seafood equity,’ $120k has paid for two Russian authors to write about Russian art, and more. Kennedy says not only is the spending out of hand, but it’s become a complete insult to Americans.
“I have seen the federal government, for example, give $530,000 to a group called ‘Hookers for Jesus.’ I have seen the federal government spend $2.1 million for sex education for Ethiopian prostitutes. I could continue with other examples of spending porn. Every time Congress allows this to happen it is as if Congress is taking a Great Dane-size whiz down the leg of every tax payer in America.”

Kennedy also noted that this is a bi-partisan problem as he has witnessed several conservatives turn the other way in fighting for reduce spending in the Senate. Kennedy believes in order to fix the national debt, we should freeze all spending except for defense.
