Georgia Democrat Stacey Abrams, who famously tweeted ‘I Believe Women’ in 2018, told CNN’s Don Lemon Tuesday that she does NOT believe Tara Reade’s sexual assault allegations against presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden, adding that the 1993 assault “did not happen.”

“I believe Joe Biden,” said Abrams, who has openly campaigned to be Biden’s running mate. “I believe that he is a person who has demonstrated that his love of family, his love of our community, has been made perfectly clear through his work as a congressional leader and as an American leader. I know Joe Biden and I think that he is telling the truth and that this did not happen.”

Former Senate aide Tara Reade claimed Biden assaulted her by penetrating her with his fingers in a congressional hallway in 1993.

Abrams’ specific choice of words during her appearance was a verbatim repeat of what the Biden campaign has advised top surrogates to say about the alleged assault, according to Tuesday report from  BuzzFeed.

Abrams tweeted “I believe women” in 2018 after Christine Blasey Ford accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault, but Tuesday she simply said she believed women “deserve to be heard.”

Thus, at Ms. Abrams’ recommendation, we present Tara Reade’s full interview with Democracy Now, followed by her mother’s appearance on Larry King Live in 1993, which the media has relentlessly ignored.
