Democrats love to spend as much of your tax money on stuff as possible. More money means a better standard of living for all citizens, whether legal or not! More money spent means a better America, damn it!
Don’t believe them? Well, just take a look at the following categories and resulting undeniable evidence of excellence through higher spending, Mr. or Mrs. Doubting Thomas:
Public Schools: The graduation rate has been decreasing over the past several decades in the U.S. at the same time that we’re plowing more money than ever into public education.
Healthcare Coverage: Premiums have doubled as a result of the brilliant cost-savings of Obamacare, forcing most Americans into catastrophic healthcare plans with annual deductibles averaging close to the cost of a midsize sedan. Sure you can’t afford to go to the doctor for ANYTHING of consequence, but your annual checkup is free!
Higher Salaries and Benefits for U.S. Representatives:
Of course, Democrats recognize that increased funding isn’t ALWAYS the solution – especially when it comes to the value of human life. For example, the key to protecting the lives of more black Americans is to cut funding to police departments.
How can fewer cops lead to fewer minority deaths? It’s simple, friend. Take the money that was earmarked for law enforcement and redirect it to local community resources and organizations – organizations like Planned Parenthood, which aborts more unborn African-American babies each year than any other race…
You know what? Upon reflection and a review of the aforementioned evidence, it appears as though Democrats might not have a handle on this whole “How to Spend Wisely” concept.
Good thing Kamala Harris, U.S. Senator and Big Thinker, is here to explain the concept. The vice presidential hopeful on Tuesday applauded Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti’s decision to slash police funding by $150 million to help fund $250 million for youth jobs and health initiatives.
“I support investing in communities so that they become more healthy and therefore more safe,” Harris said in an interview on ABC’s “Good Morning America.” “I applaud Mayor Garcetti for doing what he’s done.”
Yeah, this defunding police thing sounds awesome. I’m positive Democrats won’t wind up stepping on their Kente scarfs with this one.
