Republican Representative Mark Meadows, Congressman from North Carolina and chair of the House Freedom Caucus joined WIBC host Tony Katz Wednesday to breakdown the mid-term elections, the migrant caravan and the Iran nuclear deal.

On What Makes Indiana So Significant in The Mid-Term Election:

“Well, it’s the values the people of Indiana hold. And candidly, having the President and the Vice President come multiple times is really just speaking to the heart of those Midwestern values. And so there’s no state that is more important than Indiana right now in terms of the makeup of the Senate.”

On Why The House is in Question Despite President Trump’s Accomplishments:

“I think part of it is the divisive way that we are. You know, the prior administration had a tendency to only get judged on charm versus results. If you voted just on results, this would be a red wave of gigantic proportion, and yet a lot of people want to put a check on this President and be sure there are enough Democrats to impeach him. But you can’t really go against the successes that this administration has had.”

On How to Deal with Saudi Arabia Following Jamal Kashoggi’s Murder:

“Well, it has to be addressed in some manner. We’ve got to be firm in our position that journalists and all those who speak out are protected. And if we not have the moral compass there, then no one will.”
