Rep. Adam Schiff is fighting off demands for his resignation despite calls from every Republican on the House Intelligence Committee for Chairman Schiff to step down from his position.

Schiff has been accused of weaving a “demonstrably false” narrative of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia and “undermining” the credibility of the panel.

At a hearing Thursday, Republican Rep. Mike Conaway read a letter arguing Schiff has been “at the center of a well-orchestrated media campaign claiming, among other things, the Trump campaign colluded with the Russian government.”

Schiff delivered a highly emotional response to as he listed a litany of controversial interactions between the Trump campaign and Russia.

“You might think it’s OK,” Schiff said. “I don’t.”

WIBC host Tony Katz told listeners Friday that Rep. Schiff will never resign voluntarily, arguing that the California Democrat “has no shame.”

Katz:

“It is not that we disagree politically, it is that he repeatedly made claims that he had proof of Russian collusion. I think it’s legitimate to ask, ‘Hey, why is he still in charge? He’s obsessed. We can’t have a guy like this as the Chairman of this committee.’”
