A federal judge dismissed porn actress Stormy Daniels’s defamation lawsuit against President Donald Trump on Monday.

Judge James Otero, a George W. Bush appointee, dismissed the suit in a ruling filed in the US District Court in Los Angeles, determining that the President did not defame Daniels in a tweet in which he suggested she made up a claim that someone had threatened her in 2011. Otero stated Trump’s tweet constituted “rhetorical hyperbole” protected under the First Amendment and “normally associated with politics and public discourse in the United States.”

The judge also ruled that Trump is entitled to attorney fees, meaning Daniels has to pay his legal bills. It’s not clear what that cost will be, but estimates are high considering the case lasted for more than six months, and at least four lawyers were involved.

WIBC host Tony Katz discussed the judge’s ruling on his afternoon show Tuesday.

“This is just pure humiliation for Michael Avenatti. Pure humiliation from beginning to end.

…You notice I don’t mock Stormy Daniels for her porn career, have at it. But that this is a story is beyond comprehension; it’s beyond explanation. It’s just this big, hot, ridiculous mess, and I just want it to be over, but it’s not over because people can’t accept that President Trump won an election; they can’t deal with it; thus, they would rather be as hateful as can be. They somehow enjoy the hate more than creating a policy that actually works.”
